About this project

The information a QU student needs is all public, but it’s spread across Banner, a dozen SharePoint pages, PDF study plans and the academic calendar. Answering “when does add/drop close?” or “what’s left in my plan?” means opening five tabs and reading carefully.

This project pulls that material into one place and answers questions from it directly. It doesn’t replace Banner or the Registrar; it saves you the tab-hunting, and it always shows you the page it got the answer from so you can check.

Ask about courses, prerequisites, deadlines, scholarships or library bookings and get an answer with the QU page it came from. Upload your transcript once and the degree audit shows what’s left in your plan, term by term, on a roadmap you can rearrange. The GPA calculator covers term, cumulative, target and what-if in one place. The schedule builder reads live sections from Banner and generates clash-free timetables you can save, tag and share.

All 53 undergraduate programs are mapped term by term, so the audit works whatever you study. The assistant, GPA calculator and schedule builder don’t depend on your major at all.

The assistant, GPA calculator, degree audit and schedule builder are live. A campus map and a personalised news/alerts feed are on the way, and are labelled “Coming soon” everywhere they appear.

Answers come from Qatar University’s published pages and live Banner data, and every factual answer links its source so you can check it. It is still an unofficial tool: for anything that decides your semester — registration, grades, graduation — confirm it in Banner or with the relevant office.
